Role of Business Blogging. How to Start?
Dr. Gary S. Berger is my good friend who use my advices in web marketing and development. As specialist in tubal reversal surgery he is director of Chapel Hill Tubal Reversal Center in North Carolina. His concern is a website www.tubal-reversal.net which provide information about his center, research, and 30 years of work experience. Resently i suggested him to open a web blog where he can share his observations and work.
In the beginning i was surprised when Dr. Berger email me question “What can I blog about?”. In my mind i was sure that person who spent most of his life doing one thing has millions things to write about. Later i made conclusion: many successful people afraid that their reputation could be ruined if they fail to post good posts.
Business blogging it is not about professional posts which should be presented as speech during seminar. Business blogging is about bringing trust to customers / clients… to show them that you and your team is the same people with interests, hobbies, and personal life.
What to blog about my business?

There are many business unrelated things you can post in corporate blog:
- Personal biography.
- Pictures of the family and co-workers.
- Office birthday parties.
- Jokes.
- Stories about vacations.
- Hobbies and interests.
… and more.
Portfolio for your business with corporate information and services you provide you can keep on main website. Business blog could be nothing but random thoughts and events. Potential customer / client reading web journal like this feel sympathy, connection, and friendly atmosphere which increase his will to deal with you.
All this things i suggested to Dr. Berger and now he is proud of his new blog receiving awards and feedbacks from colleagues and clinic visitors.
