During survey we asked random people who doesn’t know nothing about web marketing. All of them don’t know a difference between Google ads, DoubleClick, Clicksor, CJ, or any other advertising networks.
We did not asked webmasters because they give their own “geeky” opinion which can’t represent average intenet user.

People click on Google ads way less than it used to be because they became more educated, many of them already know difference between regular links and ads… Also, in 2007 Google made clickable space smaller and it reduced clicks which happen by accident.

Great post. I didnt have a chance to get in on the orginal viting. since we are on the subject, the most annoying thing that I seeon 2.0′ed sites is that SnapShots pop up. It can just be plainannoying to hover over a link to see what is up and my browsing space is invading by some loading window.
