On January 4, 2008 I wrote article called 52 ways to get quality link and for a long time it was the most popular page on TechWeb Media. We got 5 diggs, 12 Sphinns, credits on other social networks, and at least 3 links from other blogs. On January 13 spammer stole our content by placing on his own blog without providing link back and taking autorship under his name.

Raman Shukla blog called Encyclopedia - Online Marketing With Google Yahoo MSN on BlogSpot is a perfect example of useless spam blog with Google, Amazon, Yahoo, and other ads everywhere.
I was shocked when we found that now his blog rank #1 when you search on Google “52 ways to get quality link”. Moreover, our site rank #3 and when you search for exact phrase it shows our site with omitted results (it means that for Google we are duplicate content). Yahoo and MSN / Live rank our article #1 like it suppose to be.

As you see, our website with original article rank #3 and spammer rank #1 stealing our organic results and positions. Moreover, this blog rank #1 for other keywords and phrases which you can find in this article.
Raman Shukla steal content on a daily basis by posting the best web marketing articles he can find in blogosphere.

As we see, this guy loves SearchEngineLand by stealing the most popular stories over there. Also, we noticed that he gets all his articles from Sphinn because every story which appear on on his blog used to be “hot” on social network which actually belongs to SearchEngineLand.
I made a report to Google about spam and hope that other webmasters / companies who found their posts in the list will do the same.

I’ll bet that his blog will be removed shortly, he is using blogspot… and they can’t tolerate this kind of behavior.

I agree with Jab in the above comment.

Response to Jab: I never report about scrapers because it is just a waste of time. In this case it is different because he stole my Google positions and content. I spent at least 1.5 hours to write this post and at least 1 hour to manage comments, submit in social networks, reply to some emails with questions etc…

I am really upset that someone stole my content and rank better than me. I don’t care about Zimbio network which rank #2 because I submitted my article over there by myself. Zimbio provide my name, link to profile, and link to original post.

I sympathize with you. I have just had my article stolen as well and by who? A blogger named Strivem, from you guessed it Zimbio. Were you able to do anything about this?
I don’t understand how this is even possible, I too left a message for Zimbio with a link pointing to my artice as it clearly shows that my publish date was before this scum-bags! But, no response from them. I also left a message on this persons blog and it is still there, I can’t believe that someone would do this garbage. Hopefully you have been able to take some kind of action, please e-mail me or post it here, I would love to see this Zimbio off of the web. By the way, if I type an exact match into google, his site comes up and my article doesn’t, not even through duplicate content, I only have a link to my author page and it is buried. If you haven’t picked up on it, I am pisssssssed. Thanks for listening. K. Stewart
